Women's Coach Davitt O’Shannon

I have been involved with Carrick RFC for a number of years having played with the senior team as well as being responsible for a number of administrative roles within the club. Prior to playing rugby I played football with Killeshandra GFC, St. Patrick’s College Cavan and the University of Abertay where I won two Scottish Championships and represented Scotland (of all countries) in the Universities Railway Cup.

Other sporting accolades include an underage All-Ireland Feile na nGael winners medal with Killeshandra and playing inter-county hurling for that little known hurling stronghold of Cavan :). As well as being involved with the women’s team I also coach the Carrick U13s.
